About the SOCIUM
DIFIS

The project investigates the extent to which artificial intelligence (AI) tools that can be used to support job placement and advice in employment agencies are accepted by employment agencies and customers. The project examines which functional and normative design features and control approaches to these AI-based systems are accepted by users and customers.
To this end, a series of experiments will be conducted with placement specialists and customers as part of a standardized online survey. The respondents will be presented with different AI systems with randomly varying design and regulatory features. In this way, evidence-based indications of the design scope for the integration of AI applications in public employment services can be identified.
